I got an email 8 hours ago telling me that San Diego Comic Con volunteer registration opened today. I just checked my inbox a few minutes ago, and then logged in to check out the volunteer application. Volunteer registration was already closed.  That’s a bad sign. At least they’re closing new member ID registration this week.
